Trochoidea is a genus of air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Hygromiidae.
The name means "those that are shaped like a top".
Trochoidea is currently also the name of a superfamily of marine snails with gills, a superfamily that includes the Trochidae and the Turbinidae.
